The first video below, titled “HY6040 5 Axis Simultaneous” was put on YouTube by a chap named Dan, who is very experienced in this field. His response to one of his followers is as follows;
@HandyDan4 years ago @alejandrovilla4311 “The HY6040 mill has 125mm of Z travel. But you can slide the motor in the bracket to get almost 200mm of usable distance. If you notice in a few of my cnc videos, in flat work I have the motor lower in the bracket and a table spacer. In 5 axis I have the motor highest in the bracket.”
